Oahe Family YMCA

The Oahe Family YMCA was founded in the early 1970s and has been serving the Pierre/Ft. Pierre area for over 45 years. The YMCA is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization governed by a Board of Directors made up of local volunteers. With a focus on Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility; the Y nurtures the potential of every youth and teen, improves the nation’s health and well-being and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors. Our Mission is “To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.”
